The Woodrup Project - Land's End to John O'Groats
Having been given a 1970s Woodrup frame, Graham set about rubbing down, re-spraying and adding decals before the long task of sourcing various components in order to build a touring bike suitable for cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats for charity. Friends gave him components they no longer needed; some pieces came from car boot sales and a few he bought new.
Finally - after a few test runs - Graham set off, riding solo and unsupported. He took just fourteen days to complete the 1100 mile challenge whilst raising money for Cancer Research, and camped most of the way. Along the route he met some amazing people, and had the most fantastic adventure! Graham is hugely indebted to family, friends and acquaintances who helped and supported - thank you - you know who you are!
